We try to keep things simple with our range of ticket deals, while at the same time offering a range of value-for-money options to suit our customers' different needs.

Single tickets

  • For a one-way journey.
  • The cost the ticket depends where you get on and where you want to get off the bus. For details see the appropriate timetable page, try our frequently asked questions or contact us.
  • Simply buy from the driver as you get on the bus.
  • It helps the driver if you are able to offer the right change for your fare.
  • Children under 5 travel free.
  • There are usually discount prices for children over 5, but conditions vary by region. Contact us if you want to know more about child fares in your area.

Return tickets

  • These gives you two trips - one to go, one to come back again. You need to keep your ticket safe so that you can show it to the driver on the bus home - he will want to check the details and cancel the ticket.
  • Return fares are available on many services across the country and the cost of a return ticket is usually cheaper than buying two single tickets.
  • In some areas we offer Off-Peak Return fares, which offer an even greater level of discount if you travel at less busy times.

Multi-Journey Saver tickets

  • These usually offer the best deal for regular travellers - that's when you're making several journeys during the day, or using the bus on several days in the week or 4-week period.
