The Barn Restaurant is one of the nicest places to eat in Gillingham. I’ve never had a bad meal and although it is a little bit more expensive than most restaurants in the area, the contemporary surroundings and modern English dishes make it the perfect location for a family celebration or romantic meal for two.

The Olive Tree is most definitely the best Italian restaurant. I’ve visited Italy many times and eaten in numerous Italian restaurants, but the Olive Tree is one of few places to really capture the relaxed Italian atmosphere and replicate the traditional Italian cuisine perfectly. A little piece of Italy in Gillingham!
